 Three Week Drop and Train
Our Three Week Drop and Train program is a very intense and unique dog or puppy training experience. Your dog will live and be trained in the home of a certified pet dog trainer. We will use positive dog and puppy training methods to ensure your dog has a fun and enjoyable dog training experience. Your dog will also enjoy the benefit of socialization and play with other dogs in the program while not being trained. The program is 21 days long and includes three weeks of private in home follow up lessons by a certified pet dog trainer.
What is covered?
During the three week program we will cover sit, down, stay, wait, come, loose leash walking, leave it, and place. If your dog has behavioral issues including jumping on guests, puppy housebreaking, chewing, or play biting your certified pet dog trainer will address those issues as well. During the training program your certified pet dog trainer will train your dog or puppy in distracting environments to ensure the generalization process. If you have a puppy 16 weeks or younger we will do intense dog or puppy socialization and your puppy will attend puppy kindergarten.
How to Have a Successful Training Program
The program is 21 days and includes 3 private follow up lessons. Your dog will learn the above topics with his or her certified pet dog trainer in our home. Your program comes with three weeks of follow up lessons (one lesson per week). In those three weeks everything your dog learned will be transferred to you. In order for the program to be successful practice and follow through must be done. When your dog returns home he or she is at a delicate point of the learning process therefore, immediate follow through is crucial. Your certified pet dog trainer may recommend some of our dog or puppy training books.
Cost and Payment
The cost of the program is $2,100. Half of the program will be paid when your dog is dropped off and the remaining balance will be paid when your dog is brought home. We accept cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard.
 How Do I Sign Up?
We limit the number of dogs for the program to insure your dog gets the appropriate attention needed. Therefore, there may be a waiting list. To register for class call (816)668-9502 or (913)568-8632. Your position in class is reserved when the Registration and Release Form is faxed to the office at (816)741-8266. If you do not have a fax machine forms can be brought to the first class attended. The Health Verification Form should be filled out by your veterinarian and faxed to the office at (816)741-8266. Your puppy must have a Health Verification in order to attend class. This ensures a safe and healthy environment in which all the puppies can interact.
